I'm a certified cloud engineer with a special focus on Networking. I like to work on anything that lives in the cloud, from hosting web applications, spinning up servers, creating subnets and checking all the routing that goes with it, to creating a full CI/CD pipelines.

Networking

On a daily basis I'm pinging EC2 instances, after placing them in subnets, setting up VPC Peering and using Internet Gateways, Transit Gateways, VPNs, route tables, security groups, access lists and much more

DNS

In-depth knowledge of domains, subdomains, DNS Nameservers, A Records, CNAMEs, Route53, AWS Certificate Manager

IaC

I'm a strong believer in IaC and proudly provision all my resources in Terraform. I deal with providers, state management, cli and version control on a daily basis

Linux OS

Ubuntu is by far and away my favorite OS. I live in my bash CLI and have familiarity with system admin tasks such as logging, routing, user management, Apache server provisioning, and much more

Remote Login

You can't spin up servers without SSH-ing into your EC2 instances and ubuntu servers to configure them. I love using Public-Private RSA keys, KeyGen, PuTTy and much more

Version Control

I'm familiar with git, github, gitlab, commits, pushes, pulls and branching. I like to keep an audit trail and ensure I know what changes have been made

CI/CD Pipelines

Cloud engineering wouldn't be the same without full CI/CD pipelines; Jenkins, Docker, Github Actions, Gitlab Runner, Ansible, Terraform

Projects

Secure Bastion with Private Infrastructure

Built a secure AWS environment with public and private subnets. Used a Bastion Host in the public subnet to securely SSH into EC2 instances in private subnets. Restricted access via Security Groups and key pairs.
